It's been steamy hot, almost time to crank up the air and then BAM! It's cold snap Northern MN style. Not sure what it was last night but had to have been down around 40 or so..maybe even 30 degrees f.

In mid Missouri, it was hot today, but nice and sunny. We just opened up the windows this evening - now it's cool. It was a very nice day for Terry and I to drive to St. Louis to purchase our first piece of Duna Corafoam. Hey, those whippoorwills are loud!

Hi Cindy! I have always wanted to go to St Louis and we sorta had a chance being so close at the sign workshop. One of these days!

PS: I can add an avatar for you? Actually maybe I should do a little tutorial on that for people that aren't sure

Hey everyone, here is a picture of my finished sign!

Terry and I had so much fun at camp and I learned sooooo much. Jody O, Joe C, and Melissa J - thanks for all of the one on one help you gave me, you are the reason the sign turned out so well.

We've received two requests for signs and I just completed my order for some metallic paint from modern masters.

If any of you are passing near St. Louis you are welcome to stop by. (I mean it!) We are about an hour west of St. Louis and 10 minutes south of I-70 - rural, sort of like Rob's place.

Jason - go ahead, make an avatar for me.

Joe's right - you all feel like family.

This is all so new to me, thanks everybody - I'm loving it!

Cindi,

I only wish all students were as dedicated and pleasant as you two. Even though both of you were out of your element and didn't feel too comfortable with the processes, everything you did was excellent.

I'm proud of you.

Jamie's a Rock Star - I'll admit, I was a little star struck! I spent more time with the others.
Hey, I need to thank Don for all his help with Aspire - he really helped me a lot with the computer part of it!
Again, we've only had our machine since mid May and this is all new to me - even this blogging business, I don't intend to slight anyone. Sorry Jamie.

Cindi, the sign turned out fantastic! You did a great job. Glad you enjoyed the camp and learned a lot. Hope you will come back again in the future. I was glad to meet and get to know you. Maybe next time I will get some help with the cooking so I can spend more time learning things myself!

It hit 106 today and is forecast 110 tomorrow. Once we get in one of those heat domes it can last for a long time. It's the horses, cattle and animals I worry about.

Wooow. Yesterday it was 107 and today the forecast is for 111. I bet it tops that with ease.

When leaving for work the temps are nice 80's. In a month the morning temps will be in the 90's. I don't have as much energy under heat. I've got several large commissions to complete before it gets really hot.

what I would give for a little rain right now
of course it would just evaporate and turn on the humidity if it did
I'm 3 hrs north of Joe, temp is 103 at the airport I'm showing 106 on the outdoor here at the shop and not a drop of wind, getting ready to shut the machines down, had all the fun I can handle today!!!

We have mid 90's forecasted all week. I'm afraid Frosty might be a puddle on the floor by the time it's all said and done...
