I know these aren't as fancy as some of the stuff shown here, but I was happy with how they turned out. Hand carved HDU. The SIGNS sign is my first attempt at real gold leafing.

There's a lot to be said for simplicity!! Clean, crisp, great contract, legible fonts. You used it all. Good Job!

Very nice Phillip. Hand carved letters have a certain special look that CNC carved letters lack. The bevel transitions inside the letters are much more elegant than the way CNC programs translate them. Now the challenge is to educate your customers to the sensitive difference and have them pay for your talent and labor. One thing I noticed is that the edges of your panels look to be sharp 90 degree corners. When a sharp corner is painted, the paint tends to pull away from the corner leaving a thinner coat of finish at the edge. That will be the first place the paint film will fail. If you run a small corner rounding bit around the edge it will add a nice detail and the finish will last longer.
Someday every things gonna be different... When I paint my masterpiece
