Does Hytek make a smaller cnc router that 48x96?
Absolutely Sir. What dimensions were you thinking?

Melissa and I are about to do a 2by3. I think a 4 x 4 should be popular as well.

Just let us know Kent, will fix you up a great deal on a Hytek!

I have a (different mfgr) 4x4 and I would recommend that as a good size. Rarely need anything larger.

Thanks Jason and Gene.

I am probably a little premature, but I do have a interested party on my 4 x 8 table. Far from being a done deal though. Actually a 5 x 5 would be interesting to me. I do more wood work than signs, and baltic Birch comes in 5' x 5' I would also love to have a fourth axis again, but in the end it is all going to come down to how much $ I have left after the sale and paying off my ex partner.

I just bought a machine 1300x1300x254. VERY VERY similar to the Hytech machine.

Inches - it is 51" x 51" x 10"

It's a very strong and rigid machine with plenty of power.

If I were to do it again, I would go with 12" "Z" axis. The way the machine is built the 12" "Z" would work fine.

Folks are liking the quality and service:

First machine is a lab in Hayward, CA. The 2nd is Melissa Jones and forum member Allan S. from Beartooth Signs in Bozeman, Montana.

Melissa and I are now off to New Orleans for the next session for forum member Noah Mudge.

Take your life vests:

Flash Flood Watch
Southeastern Louisiana

Primary impacts are expected to be flash flooding of low lying locations especially in urban areas with poor drainage or along low lying rural roads. Flooding of streams ...

And when they speak of low lying urban areas..... that is NOLA

Jason,

Thanks for the offer. I might take you up on it once mine is gone and I Know a little better where the finances stand. The guy I have been dealing with seems very serious, but there are a few details to work out before he can make a decision.
