I recently completed a wood grain texture looking sign. It is double sided 28" round and 3" thick. I glued up 1" thick Red Grandis boards. I used the client logo and added in wood texture from Dans CD to make a custom wood background. I routed both face pieces then glued them together. I left the center section open so I could slide the wall bracket once both were finished. I stained the background a little darker to help the logo stand out. It has two coats of clear on top.

I Used ZAR Ultra Exterior. Its a nice thick clear coat that I Brush on. It levels out real nice so no brush marks.
