Anyone ship their HDU signs to their clients?

How do you wrap the sign and ship it?

We mostly use Sherwin Williams paints on our projects and notice that the paint takes a while to Cure. It's dry but not cured. So if we wrap it up with something it tends to stick to the painted finish.

Doing some research and talking to my Sherwin WIlliam rep they said the paints take 30 days to cure, Can't wait that long to ship.

Hi Brian, If you do any large format printing, nothing sticks to the release liner for that vinyl. Wrap the sign in that first then your bubble wrap or whet ever. We use Matthews, its stinky, you need an exhaust fan & an air supplied mask but the paint is rock hard over night and with our mixing station we can match any color.

Yeah, we've used some of that. Just dislike how easy it rips when you try to use it. Would be nice to have a heavier weight paper.

Plus sometime we don't have large pieces of liner paper available. Maybe I need to stock pile it somewhere.

Translucent vinyl used for electric signs has a clear polyester liner that will not tear, that would be ideal.

I've wondered about that roll foam. Our Channel letter supplier uses it when they deliver to us.
